down 4 my ninjas ep preview

Attention bass-lovers! Datsik recently finished his new EP, “Down 4 My Ninjas,” which is expected to release on iTunes on November 25th, 2014. Yesterday, the Youtube account, “Crazybot DM” leaked a low quality version of “No Requests,” the only song from the EP that can be previewed on iTunes. “No Requests” features the rapper, KRS-One who’s verses start off the track. As the song progresses, the beat builds until we’re faced with a whopping drop of laser synths. “Down 4 My Ninjas” includes four other tracks: “Katana,” which features Mayor Apeshit, “Get Smashed,” which features DJ Paul K.O.M of Three Six Mafia, “Astronomical,” which also features KRS-One and “When They Drop,” which is co-produced by Twine.

Datsik (Troy Beetles), is a dominating figure in the American dubstep and drum-step world. Beetles founded his own record label in 2012, Fire Power Records. He has preformed at a multitude of festivals, such as Coachella and Shambhala Music Festival.

Although the EP is not expected to fully release until the end of November, it is likely that people will leak more tracks to Youtube and Soundcloud. But for now, we will have to just wait and see.

Check out "No Requests" featuring KRS-One (Keep in mind: this video is a low quality version of the song)
