TRUTH - UNDENIABLE
Preview two tracks in their recent 'Truth Chronicles Vol. 24' Mix HERE
Having been called "the best thing that's happened to dubstep in North America" by Datsik, who recently announced that he will be bringing them on tour in 2015, and having seen support from the godfathers of dubstep Skream and Mala, you could say that production duo Truth, made up of Andre Fernandez and Tristan Roake, are doing pretty well for themselves. Featuring a collab with rapper Ill Chill and rife with their usual mysterious half-time vibes, 'Undeniable' is a great EP with a unique, enigmatic style.
MR. BILL - SETTLING FOR MEDIOCRITY
PREVIEW ALBUM HERE
Rather than being prone to disaster like his clay namesake, Mr. Bill is a gifted music producer, known for an 8-bit glitch hop sound. Settling For Mediocrity was named for the common feeling among artists that a vision is never perfectly realized, and it is often necessary to mark something complete when it still feels as if it could be improved. As a prolific contributor to the world of music software tutorials, this remarkable sense of self-awareness is evident in everything Mr. Bill does. Building on the success of his past releases, Settling For Mediocrity has a refined glitch hop style that puts Mr. Bill at the forefront of the genre.
