The Glitch Mob Kick Off Fall Tour

Electronic-rock supergroup The Glitch Mob kicked off their nationwide fall tour last Friday with a headlining slot at Austin City Limits Festival. They'll return to ACL Fest this Friday, October 10 with a set that will be livestreamed [watch HERE at 8:45 PM CST on Channel 2]. Post-ACL, TGM will continue across the country with supporting talents The M Machine and Chrome Sparks as they unveil their rock-infused live performance to brand new cities nationwide including Houston, Kansas City, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C. and more. Due to popular demand the trio will also return to Boston, Portland, Philadelphia and New York where they will headline their largest NYC venue to date, The Hammerstein Ballroom on November 1.

This week, The Glitch Mob also announced two special New Years Eve shows: December 30 at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on December 30 as part of the Sea of Dreams NYE 2015 show [tickets HERE] and December 31 at Republic New Orleans [tickets HERE].

Following the release of their sophomore album Love Death Immortality (debuted at #13 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, was named #1 Independent Album & Dance/Electronic Album on the Billboard Charts, and has sold over 50,000 copies to date), The Glitch Mob played back-to-back sold-out shows across the nation and performed in top-billing festival slots at Ultra Music FestivalCoachellaGovernors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and more.

Their sound is tricky to pigeonhole, as this trio incorporates many genres into their productions including bass, hip-hop, alt rock, industrial beats, electro, psychedelic and more. That's why comparisons are being made by the media to artists such as Nine Inch Nails(Billboard)Depeche Mode (Philadelphia Inquirer) and Black Sabbath (LA Times)

With the help of Martin Phillips at Bionic League (whose work includes live performance experience design for Daft Punk, Kaskade, Deadmau5, and Kanye West) and the music tech masterminds at Name the Machine, TGM have pushed their live production and performance to all new heights this year.  "A physical representation of the music" named The Blade joins The Glitch Mob on stage as custom-built technology allows the band to trigger samples in real-time and play them like live riffs, infusing their electronic music performance with the energy and drama of a live rock show.
