Since 2004, Wakarusa has gained increasing notoriety. In 2011, the festival reached a record high number of attendees of 20,000 music lovers from all around the world. This year’s line up is particularly stellar, featuring huge names like The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, The Flaming Lips, STS9, Edwarde Sharpe, Adventure Club, Dr.Dog, Papadosio, and much more. What makes the lineup so appealing is the diversity; there are samples from a wide range of genres, making Wakarusa the ideal festival for all types of music lovers. From ravers to head bobbers, Wakarusa will be teaming with fans who are passionate about an entire range of musical experiences.


     Wakarusa takes place in the mystical Mulberry Mountain. This setting gives the festival its trademark of nature intertwined with music, culture, and art creating to create an unique and intoxicatingly magical atmosphere. Ultimately, this festival culminates to one thing: an experience. Other attractions of the festival include interactive art booths, disc golf, hiking, yoga, and the ambiance of the forest.
